After a long hiatus, I am writing to let you know that Munich Artists will be continuing in 2018 as a creative brand focusing on a commercial product line and supporting specific art projects which fit with our product focus.
We are keeping the window at Odeonsplatz and Angela Smets will be working with Munich Artists to curate the window installations and displays for 2018.
I am sad that our experiment in collaborative and interactive art is over but after five years of effort and then an 8-month break, I decided it was time to pivot and develop Munich Artists as a commercial venture that supports selected fine art installation projects.
Because of this change, we terminated the exhibition/studio space at Frauenstrasse 18 and Munich Artists will only have the window installation space at Odeonsplatz for fine art projects focused on installations.
I do apologize to all the artists for the long silence. The changes in my life in 2017 were life-altering and required an extensive review of my work focus, the usage of my creative energy and the direction I wanted my life to flow.
I do appreciate your participation in our Munich Artists projects and I hope you will continue to meet and share your creative talents with each other. Barbara Süßmeier is continuing with collaborative projects and I encourage you to connect with her in Haidhausen if you would like to participate in the fun.
Have a wonderful and creative year.
